Checking Your College Email Using Outlook Web Access (OWA)

  1. Open a web-browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) on your computer or phone.
  2. Go to
  3. When prompted to sign-in, type in your college email address (i.e. for employees or for students).  Click the NEXT button.  If you have signed in before, you may see a list of email accounts to choose from.  Click on your college email address.
  4. When prompted to enter a password, type the password associated with your email account.  Click the SIGN IN button.
  5. The system may ask you if you want to “Stay signed in?”  For security reasons, we recommend choosing the NO option.
  6. You should now see your email.
  7. To read an email message, click on the email message.
  8. To exit Outlook Web Access, click on the circular button at the top right of your screen.  It should have your initials in it (last initial, followed by first initial).
  9. Click, “Sign out” to exit.
  10. For security reasons, close your browser.

How to Download and Install Office Apps

  1. Login to your college webmail:
  2. Within your college webmail, click the App Launcher at the top left (looks like a grid of nine dots)
  3. Click the “Office 365” link
  4. At the top right, click the link to “Install Office”
  5. If you have a Windows computer, click Office 365 apps. If you have a Mac, click “Other install options”
  6. Install Office from the downloaded file
  7. After installation, start Office and sign in with your college email account to activate the license

Checking Your Voicemail from Off Campus

  1. Call (850) 718-2450.
  2. When prompted to “Enter your ID, followed by #”, use your phone keypad to enter your office extension number, then press the ‘#’ key.
  3. When prompted to “Enter your PIN, followed by #”, use your keypad to enter your voicemail password, then press the ‘#’ key.
  4. Follow the prompts.  If you have a new voicemail, the system will instruct you how to listen to the message.

Chipola Email Setup for iPhones (as of iOS 13.3.1)

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings
  2. Scroll down and select Passwords & Accounts
  3. Choose Add Account
  4. Choose Microsoft Exchange
  5. Put in your Chipola email address in the Email field. For Description, you can either leave it as Exchange or change it to Chipola to help identify it if you have multiple email accounts on your iPhone. Choose Next after putting in your information.
  6. A new Safari window will open asking you for your password. Put in your password and choose Sign in
  7. Choose Accept on the Permissions requested screen
  8. If your password was successful, you will see the screen to choose what features you want to be synced with your phone. Choose Save to complete the setup.
  9. To access your emails, find the Mail app on your iPhone.
